(The anime of Ouran is de-shoujoized; it's intended to have a larger audience).

AND while turning in my math test yesterday, I saw that Mr. Stowers had a copy of Fruits Basket on his desk. No idea why, but I tried so hard to not laugh.

...lol. Eh, Shoujo normally can be annoying, just gotta go through alot to find the few GOOD Shoujo manga/anime. Might I also emphasize -FEW- good. Not so much bad story idea, so much as how the main character acts, I've read some that are ...entirely ...How should I put this RETARDED.
Character-wise, like the abusive boyfriend or something yet they still go all "LOL DOES HE LOVE ME?!" bullcrap and such. Quite irritating.
